I have a mtd mower that is only a year old, and now it is starting to run rough like it is not getting enough gas, just cleaned sponge filter over the card and no luck.

When I start my truck cold it runs very rough and smokes. Also will not make power. Once warmed up it seems to do fine. What type oil should I be using? I am in northern, IL. THX
