    Oil pressure sending unit location/check
    Chevrolet Silverado 2004 5.3 V8 petrol.

I want to test the oil pressure sending unit. In the Chiltern manual it states the unit is at the back on the engine behind the intakes. This must be near the bulkhead. Is there a removable panel I can look at the sending unit, or am I looking in the wrong place?

You need to look from top of engine at the very back by the firewall... there is no bulkhead to remove. Its just in a very awkward position.
