    Installing block heater diesel 2.9l
Just went down and tried to start the JD 240 Skid Steer. 4 below and not starting. Unit has an intake air heater but even that didn't help. Unit has a 2.9L Model 3029D Diesel engine - JD is the mfg'r of this engine. I have the potential to get it into a heated shop but not until I can get it started. Any suggestions? No I have not put any fuel stabilizer/anti-gel in the tank. I have to go out of town in a couple days and don't have time to mess with this. Any short terms fixes I can use to get this unit running. Also I am assuming a block heater will help this cause? I have not installed one before? Difficult? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
