    Ignition Coil
Im the owner of a 2000 Chev Impala. The problem is while driving along my car began jerking and stalling, then it stopped running. Ive tried replacing the ignition control module and the coils with no luck. Any ideas? For some reason, the distributor isn't firing.

Stalling is from too much fuel or not much and will cause the car to stop check your fuel system and go from there:)

Was it really sluggish - slow, no acceleration - prior to this problem?

May be the catalytic converter and/or oxygen sensor(s).

    Any check engine lights?
