How do you get window paint made for decorating car windows off the actual car?
My friend and I painted on our friends car with window paint from the drug store and the paint came off the windows but not the actual car. You can still faintly see the outline of the paint on the car. Our friend said we have to pay $159 dollars to get the car buffed. Is there any other way to remove the paint? Please help. We do not have an extra 159 dollars available to waste. Thank you so much.

The decision to repaint, have it professionally corrected or anything else is legally the decision of the owner of the car.

If he/she wants $159 to get it buffed, then that's what you have to do - unless you want to have him sue you in Small Claims Court and pay him that way.

No, there is no other way to remove the "faint outline" of the paint.

Did you read the packaging before you painted the car - not the windows, the car?
