I have a 1994 civic and the trunk leaks! I hate it because it will end up rusting my trunk out! Does anybody know the reason for this and if so what's the solution?

    Hi, Bert John!

If your trunk is leaking, the first thing that I would be looking at is the seal (I hope that's the correct word for it!) between the trunk lid and the car body to see if it's worn. If it is, then you should be able to replace it with something that matches the original or might be very close to matching the original.

    Thanks!

. Adjust latch or stops, if the gasket is in good shape.

. Clean door and trunk gaskets with silicone spray every 6 months, to prevent ozone deterioration.
