Engine block - hair line crack
    Hello,
This message is not about a car or truck engine problem, but that of a boat motor, I didn't see a classification for boats, so I thought I try this approach, to see if anyone could shed some light on my dilema. I have a 2006 Stingray boat w/ a 3.0 L,, inboard/ outboard. It was cold the other night and I thought I had it winterized correctly, but apparently I didn't. I blew out a freeze plug from under the manifold and water/anti went spraying out of hole. I figured I could just replace the soft plug but upon closer inspection I see that I have 2 hairline cracks in the side of the block, which one oozes liquid. Also I have water drops coming down from up above the manifold line. Could this be a head gasket? Now, do they make a sealer that I can put into the motor and seal it up, or am I toasted? Thanks, Gapster.

If there is a crack in the block I am sure you have to get a new motor.

I agree, with the engine fluids under pressure it would blow whatever type of seal gunk you put in your engine right through the crack.
