    94 honda vtec engine turns over but does not start, fuel and ignition firing OK
    1 94 honda civic vtec
    2. Grandual lost of power first
    3. New fuel filter installed
    4. Fuel pump runs plenty of fuel on fuel rail.
    5. Distributor firing strong on all plugs.
    6. Engine turns over, and tries to fire but does not.
    ?? How do I check the electronic fuel injectors to see if they are opening.

    Remove all of the spark plugs and check each cylinder's compression. Look for signs of leaking valves, blown head gasket, or worn piston rings. Did the engine ever overheat?
