    94 Acura Integra Brakes Locking-up
    Hello I have a 94 Acura Integra and just recently my brake light wouldn't go off and my husband said the brake petal was not reaching the button to make the light go on so he did something to fix that and now the lights turn on when you push the brake hard. Well I drove the car and now after you drive it the brake's start locking up. When you start the car everything is fine but as you drive the brake petal starts going down causing the car to slow down cause it thinks the brakes are on. I am wondering if anyone has any idea's and also if maybe this has something to do with the brake light switch? Please let me know any idea's.

    I'm not sure which brake light you have on, or want on, or which one's coming on that you don't like... It sound as if hubby has adjusted the brake lamp switch.

    Have a qualified shop inspect your braking system. Tell them about your concern with the lights. Many will do this for little or no cost to you, because they're hoping you'll buy their recommended repair(s).

    Ask up front about diag fees and also ask about warranties. If they don't want to be upfront, don't give them your keys! Look for ASE certified technicians (The Big Blue Gear)
