    93 Ford Explorer,Starter Location
    I need to replace the starter on my 93 Ford Explorer. Can you tell me where the starter is located?

    The starter on a 93 Ford Explorer, as you are standing in the front of the car, move to the right side, and you can see the starter below the engine. It is too low to reach from above, and too tight to access underneath. You will need a 1/2" wrench and maybe a 10mm wrench. There are two bolts holding it on, and two wires to disconnect once it is off.
    Chock your tires, emergency brake on, ground cable off the battery, jack it up a few inches, even if you're small.
