My '85 Honda Accord Won't Start
I don't know much about cars at all, so please forgive me if this doesn't make much sense.

I own an '85 Honda Accord. The battery light came on, and I continued to drive it for a few days not thinking anything of it. Well I pull into a gas station, and when I go to pull out it wouldn't start. It turns over, the radio turns on, the lights turn on, but it won't start. It clicks, and kind hums a little bit, and then nothing. I get it jump started, and drive it down the road. As soon as I stop at a stop light it dies... no puttering, or anything.. it just loses power, and dies, but all the lights, and such still work. So I get it pushed off the road. I come back the next day, and it starts right up. I drive it to my house, the batter light comes on, and when I'm about a block away it dies again. Same issue to begin with. I need to know if it's a bad battery, an alternator, or what? Please help! Thank you!

I have an 81 honda accord and it did the same thing, the battery light came on, it died while driving as well, I changed the alternator and it was fine.

Read sections A and B below:

Sounds like it could be a problem with the main relay or igniter.
