Disconnect cable from temperature blend door and the mounting bracket from top of heater assembly.
Disconnect blower motor and resistor electrical connectors.
Disconnect and plug hoses from heater core.
Working under instrument panel, remove 2 nuts on attaching left side of heater assembly and right side of plenum to dash.
Remove 2 screws attaching right side of heater assembly to dash, then lift heater assembly out of vehicle.
Remove heater housing plate attaching screws, nut and bolt and the plate.
Slide heater core and seal out of heater assembly.
    Reverse procedure to install.
Take appropriate measures to ensure purging air while refilling the cooling system.
Use clean 50/50 mix of coolant.

I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 and the mechanic has discovered that the heater core is clogged. The truck has 25,000 miles on it and the coolant level is in the normal range. The coolant is from the factory. What could have caused the clog?
