    73 corvette ignition? Gear? Sector? Rod?
    Ok you have your
    Lock cylinder
    That goes in
    Turns a metal rod
    That turns the sector gear
    What is the technical term for this metal rod
    The metal rod has a small clip that hold the
    Gear on it

    That's some old data... I believe the rod is simply called a sector rod or link rod.
