I have a 2001 honda civic automatic and it when I put it into gear it in gear it will go but at some point from like 50 feet to 2 miles down the road it stops moving. If I stop and turn off the motor and then start it again it will sometimes go back into gear but not always.

2001 civic starter trouble [ 1 Answers ]

I have a 2001 Honda Civic with 98K. I replaced the battery in June. I have noticed over the past 2 days that when I try to start it, it takes a few seconds to turn over. The lights come right on as does the clock. This is my first problem with this car. Do I take it to the dealer?
