    2001 Ford F250 Diesel - Can't get a code
    Hello - I have a 2001 Ford Diesel and the "Service Engine Soon" light is on. I have tried to get a code from 3 different sources and no luck. Any suggestions? :)

    Are you able to access the computer or is it not even connecting?

    Is it a MIL light or a scheduled maintenance reminder light?

    MIL........and thanks. Unfortunately I stop by another place this morning and he got FIVE codes. :confused: (that can't be good) They said they other places may have had old equipment and that why they couldn't pull a code.

The glow plug (wait to start) light comes on for about 10 sec. but doesn't stay on as long as it did before this started to happen. I'm thinking glow plugs maybe. How is the best way to check the plugs out short of replacing...
