1988 chevy suburban won't stay running
My 1988 R10 suburban 5.7 starts fine but stalls after 5 or 10 seconds, wait another 10 seconds it will start again and stall, every so often it will stay running for varying lenghts of time but will stall and start with the 5 or 10 second thing again, I removed the map sensor it idled rough but again only ran for 5 to 10 seconds, I replaced the coolant temp sensor, no change, any ideas?

Replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil. This should solve the problem. The ICM (DR140) is $39.99 and the coil (C846) is $19.99 at AutoZone.

Replaced ICM, coil, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, and fuel filter. No change, still stalls after about 5 to 10 seconds then restarts and now and then runs for 10 to 15 minutes and can be driven fine down the road.

I believe is fuel related, if you dribble fuel in through the throttle body you can keep it running indefinitely. Currently the truck is running just fine sitting in the drive way, I can rev the motor and drive it down the road, but as before it will stall at some point and start with the stalling after 5 to 10 seconds thing all over again.

As I thought, it ran for about 15 minutes in the driveway, and now is stalling after 5 to 10 seconds again

. Test all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter:

. Fuel Test. Ensure that you can hear the fuel pump run, when the ignition switch is turned to ON. If not check the fuel pump fuse and fuel pump relay, in the under hood fuse/relay box. Remove and clean the contacts to the fuse and fuel pump relay. Consult your Owner's Manual for their locations. If you hear the fuel pump in the gas tank run, the odds are that the fuel pump is fine. Modern-day fuel pumps are extremely reliable.

. Change the fuel filter, if it has not been changed in the last 30,000 miles.

    . Check the fuel pressure.

Fuel filter was the first thing I changed, I check fuel pressure, when I first turn on the key it jumps to 10 psi, stays there for about 3 seconds then drops to zero, it will start at zero psi, then it jumps up to 10 again and slowly drops to zero then stalls out

Replace the fuel pump--it definitely sounds like it failed.
