Where was the poem 'Pray don't find fault with the man who limps',first published?
Can Anyone tell me the earliest publication in which the anonymous poem 'Pray don't find fault with the man who limps... ' appears. My dad told me he first heard this poem sixty years ago... but can't remember how he knows it. Does anyone know when and where it was first published? Is it American or British in origin?

The earliest publication I've found it in (on Google Books) is The Lather, published by the Wood, Wire, and Metal Lathers' International Union in 1926 (page 23). There seem to be a number of suggestions online for who wrote it, but I haven't found a certain answer.
