    Weekly reader book club
    Hello,
My parents enrolled me in the Weekly Reader book club when I was younger, in the late 70s early 80s and I am trying to find a book I remember, probably from that club about a group of animals looking for signs of spring. At the end of the story one of the animals sees some crocuses peeking out of the snow. I remember the illustrations as being pretty simple, not a lot of color but definitely some color, and probably from the late 70s. I still have some of the books from that club, "The Giant Jam Sandwich", "Rabbit's Search for a Little House" and Stand Back Said the Elephant I'm Going to Sneeze" so it's likely from that time.
    Thanks!

Hi.. Go to Barnes & Nobles and you will find a few books still in print by the author of the "The Giant Jam Sandwich". His name is John Vernon Lord. Happy Browsing.
