1. At the bottom of the box that you type in there's a link that says "go advanced". Click it.
2. A paperclip symbol will show up on the top option on the box that you type in. Click the paperclip.
3. A new box will pop up called "manage your attachments".
4. Hit the "browse" button.
5. Find the picture you want to post and double click on it.
6. Hit the "upload" button beside the browse button.
7. Under the section "Upload file from a URL", a link will appear. That's your picture.
8. Close the manage attachments window.
9. Click on the paperclip again. Your link for your picture will be there. Click on it.
10. Post.
You can post up to 5 pictures per post.

Click on the link you posted. It takes you to the entire thread. Should I remove in that sticky all but the photo-posting info?

Maybe we need that sticky on every forum, not just the dog forum. Just a thought. :)

Then we would have to explain how to get to the sticky and where they are

Last year, I spent some time slapping your sticky on various boards when people ask how to post a photo, as on the Art board (where it is happily used) and some others. I copied/pasted only the actual instructions and didn't transfer that entire thread about Starby and arcura, etc. I've also generally posted your instructions many times (always giving you credit :))

No credit needed, but thank you. Heck, most of us know how to post a picture, I just put it in writing, and I only did that because every time I was asked, I actually had to do it in order to give instructions on how to do it. It got a bit tedious after a while. :)

Actually, that question comes up a lot, especially on the Art board, so that's why I posted the sticky there. I put it on several animal boards and some other boards after going down the list of boards to figure out which ones might need or invite a photo. Newbies especially have trouble with this task, since everything here is new and strange.

Please insert disk?
[ 2 Answers ]
I have an Emachine W3619. When I put a cd/dvd into the drive I get no response. It opens and ejects the light comes on that's all. I went to My computer and clicked on it and it says "Please insert disk". I thought the drive was bad so I bought another one the new drive says the same thing :(.
