Need help finding this young adult/teen book from the early 2000s
I ran into this book when I was in junior high (about 2000 or 2001) in my
School library. I have since then visited the same library and have been Unable to find it or even remember its title. :confused: What I remember of the book: The book was about a young boy (maybe about 15) named Daniel. Somehow he ends up finding himself in another world where he meets a talking (coral?) snake who mispronounces his name as "Dan-yell." He ends up having to fight for this kingdom and, near the end, he gets wounded in battle. When he dies in the fantasy world, he awakens back in his world. The cover I remember as being black with a blond boy on it and a coral Snake. Please help me find this book or at least the author (I believe it was a Male author)! I have been trying to find this book for YEARS!! |
