    Tongue piercing the second time
    Hi. I have one quick question..
    I got my tongue pierced, but had to take it out for school. I'm planning on getting it done again. I've searched the net. And can't find the answer to this simple question, which I have heard mixed answers about..
    Does your tongue swell the second time its pierced, just as it did the first?
    Please help :P

    Maddiee I won't read you the riot act about the downside of tongue piercing, only suffice to say that you are jeopardizing your oral hygiene and possibly over all general health with this unnecessary practice.

    To answer your question, yes your tongue will swell and you will be unable go articulate until the swelling goes down.
