    Hey... me and some of my friends periced my belly buttion and wew of corse got cought and bla... bla well my wound is scabbing and is brused it also hurts really bad well I don't think it is infected or anything but I could be wrong so help me

    I agree with J_9, you would have to provide some symptoms, but some of the signs of an infected piercing are severe redness, severe swelling, and a green or yellowish discharge that does not smell good.

    This is one of the reasons that piercing yourself is not a good idea. You can hurt yourself if you do not know what you are doing. Your belly button is one of the easiest piercings to get infected so that is one of the main ones (along with a few others) that absolutely require a professional (I do not advocate self piercing, so I feel they all require a professional).

    The bruising was caused when you broke the blood vessels under your skin. This happens to some people, and doesn't happen to others. Its not a sure sign of infection, but like was stated earlier you would need to provide more information.
