    Re-piercing Navel
    HI all,

From what I have read lots of people had similar questions, but each case appears somewhat unique. So I thought I would pose my case and my question.
I pierced my belly button 3 times already. But before that I had laparoscopy for a kidney infection and they instrumented through an incision on top of my navel. The cut was about 1/4 in long and with some scar tissue. It's noticeable but not raised or discoloured. I pierced through the scar all 3 times and the ring simply came off (the last 2 times I realized what was happening and removed before it rejected).
I'm dying to repierce it for many reasons, but I'm really worried that I just doing self-mutilation that will never pay off.
Anyone out there had a 4th time lucky story?

    Oh, another question... is a ring better than a L-bar? (all 3 times I had a L-bar)

    Thanks!

Sooo... my grandmother wouldn't let me pierce my belly button so I did it myself, but after about 4 months I took it out because I realized I didn't get enough skin pierced and I tried to let it heal up and then there was still the hole so I put the ring back it (it was tempting me out of my mind)...

Ear repiercing [ 6 Answers ]

I had my ears pierced 4 years ago and I don't like the placement of the hole on my right lobe. I would like to let it close up and then get it repierced with the placement of the new hole being slightly above the old hole. I was wondering if I get the new hole so close to the old hole, will the...
