    How old should you be to have a tognue piercing
    I want a tognue piercig . I'm 15 . Is that age recommended ?

    It's not only not recommended, it's not legal in most places, unless you have your parents permission.

    Why not wait until you're an adult? Many people that get tongue piercings regret it.

    There's no "recommended" age as such, its up to your parents at the end of the day. If they think you're responsible enough then I couldn't see why not. I got mine done when I was fifteen but I had to do a lot to prove to my dad to let me get it done. I had to check with my school first to make sure I didn't get in trouble, did a lot more chores around the house, had to keep up my good grades, got a part time job and paid for my piercing. Also, I made a deal that if it got infected or I started acting up then I would take it out and not get anything done again until I was 18 and legal to get it done on my own. Ask your parents and sit down and talk to them about it - why you want it done, the cons of getting it done and how you can get around the cons (for example: chipped teeth - you can get bio plast/plastic balls/bars).. but remember, if they say no and you can't negotiate then it's a no I'm afraid.     Ahah I am too lol my parents don't want me to get one... but if your parents agree you can get one now... you just need a parent to be there.. :)
