How long does a cartilage piercing take to not hurt?
I got my cartilage on my left ear pierced yesterday. It doesn't hurt anymore but it does when I touch it, but my hair behind my ear or lay down on that side of my head. There is no redness or swelling, just pain. I can twist it with little to no pain. I got it pierced at a jewelry stand in the mall with a 14 kt gold stud. They said I could change the earring in 12 weeks. How long until it doesn't hurt anymore based on experience?

Two days ago, I had my cartilage pierced with a gun. The stud is able to turn and I'm cleaning it but it still throbs a little. I don't believe it's infected but when should I expect the initial pain to go away?
I don't think it hurts when I got mine don't at claires it wasa little stinging for about 18 seconds and I juts got mine done I remember and it hurts when I roatate them and when you touch it or something hits it remember don't sleep on it cause it will go right through your ear
