    Breeding indian ringneck parrots
Hi, I have bred many species of bird over the years, but last year purchased my first pair of indian ringnecks. They are 4 years old and have paired up nicely with the cock bird feeding the hen for the past several weeks. I put in a nest box at the start of the year as advised and the hen has been in and out regulary. However for the past week the hen bird has been getting into a mating position but all the cock bird is doing is standing on her back and feeding her but not actually mating. Is this part of the courting ritual or do I have a clueless cock bird. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
