What color to use on my roots
Hi a month ago I used a color remover color oops and it took out all of the auburn brown I had in my hair. Yesterday I did a bleach shampoo to lighten my hair and it is now light brown. I want to color my hair to even out the color and cover my roots that are now 3 inches and dark brown. I don't know what color to use I was told since I bleached my hair and it is now porous I should use a dark blonde. I want to use a light ash brown would this be okay on my hair and my roots I don't want uneven color.

I don't really know that if you put a dark blonde ash color all over if it would work. You have 3 inches of dark brown roots. The rest of your hair is highly processed and light brown. I'm reiterating this to ensure I have it correct.

As much as you may not want to hear this, your best bet would probably be to go to a professional.

I would be afraid that your re-growth would turn out too brassy, even if you're using an ash color, and the rest of the hair may result with a greenish cast to it (too ashy).
