Is there any way to get the red out?
I have been dying my hair red for years and now I want to go back to my natural hair color which is a dirty blondish color. I want to just let it grow out but I hate having light roots with hair that is a chocolaty-redish color. I can't dye my hair to cover it up cause the red just comes through. Is there any way to get the color out safely without destroying my hair?

If you want to go back to your original color, you would have to strip the dye from your hair, and then apply your desired color. This process can be damaging and should only be attempted by a professional. You should consider going to the salon and have do corrective coloring process.
