    Small red bumps on scalp
    Recently I noticed that my husband had little red bumps on his scalp not pus filled just raised red bumps. Then a couple of weeks later I was playing in my hair and noticed I had 2 little bumps on my scalp he looked at them and said they look like the ones on his head. Has this happened to anyone else? If so what did you do?

    My husband had a red bump on his head once, he went to the doctor and it was an ingrown hair. They just cut it open and took the hair out, it was really long! I know, it's kind of gross, but maybe that could be it?

    To add on to shoegal aka lisamarie8's comment. Bellamountain, it sounds like Scalp Folliculitis. Scalp Folliculitis is a bacterial infection of the hair follicles which causes small red bumps to appear on the scalp. You can treat this condition by shampooing regularly with a normal shampoo or an anti-dandruff shampoo. However, you should have this checked out by a doctor just to be on the safe side.
