Small bumps on legs, caused by shaving?
    Hi everyone,

I am new to this site and there has been this annoying problem on my legs. Basically mostly only the top to my knee caps- are covered in these small "red" bumps some of them even look to be in-grown hairs? It's frustrating because I can't seem to get rid of these things, I don't really put lotion on my legs either so maybe that's why. Also I believe it may be caused from shaving with a low-quality razor.

Does anyone have this problem, or know any solutions to it?

    Thanks!

It sounds like razor bumps resulting from shaving. I recommend waiting a few days for the razor bumps or irritation to go away. You can trying using an exfoliant to remove dead skin cells or a face scrub. You can also try using an alpha hydroxy lotion, it will remove dead skin cells and clear up the bumps.

When shaving your legs, use warm water to soften the skin and hairs before shaving. Then, apply shaving cream or gel and shave in the direction of hair growth, which is downward. Be sure to use a moisturizing lotion after shaving.

Thank you very much, wait.. shave downwards? I thought you shave up your legs. For instance if I am looking forward the razor is going towards me. Wow, maybe that's the problem. So in any case it's always shave "DOWN"? Thank you!

Yes, shave downward. If you shave your legs upward, it will cause resistance on the razor, which results in irritations. Try shaving your legs downward in the direction of hair growth.
