    Breakout/rash after using lotion
    HELP HELP HELP! I usually have mild to light acne, but I just used a petrol-based fragrant lotion today. I used it for the whole day, but did not look in the mirror. Just about half an hour ago, I looked in the mirror and found breakouts/red spots/rashes all over my face!! This has never happened to me before. So I applied bags of ice and sliced fruit on my face, thinking that it would alleviate the itchiness and redness. Now, I am sitting here with no lotion on at all. What do I do now? My first day at a new job starts tomorrow! PLEASE HELP!

    Apple Cider Vinegar for Acne here is some home remedies maybe one will help you. I am a big believer in vinegar. However some people may not share my beliefs.

    You've had an allergic reaction to the lotion you were using. The ingredients in cosmetics, skin creams or lotions can cause allergic reactions, such as redness and rashes. Do not use cider vinegar, it will irritate your skin and make matters worse. Try using a very gentle skin toner to calm the redness and reduce inflammation. If the rashes does not clear up, please go see a dermatologist right away.

    Lotion on your face will cause a breakout if it has a oily base.It will even be worse if you sweat with this lotion on your face or body.I love Palmers cocoa butter,but if I put it on my face it will cause me to breakout,and I seem to sweat more when I have it on.I live in Florida where it is 95 degrees today.:)
