    If I file bankruptcy will a credit card be included if they already got a judgment
    I have $40,000 in credit card debt. One company I owe $15,000 obtained a judgment. They have already gotten $4000 by garnishing my chekcing account, and now say I owe $16,000 due to interest. This is impossible and never ending. If I file bankruptcy, will the company with the judgment be inluded in the bankruptcy?

    You are absolutely incorrect about Bankruptcy and prior Judgments - that debt is considered just like all the other debts.

    As far as the rest of this - it's advertising YOUR site!

    I deleted the poster trying to go with the "credit counseling" most are rip off companies at best, many under investigation for false claims. And once they have a judgement they are not going with a counseling company

    But yes it will be included in the bankruptcy, there are requirements to meet to file but an attorney will go over those with you

    Yes, the judgment would be "included" in the bankruptcy. You likely won't be able to get back the money they already garnished, but the garnishments and levies will stop. This is all assuming you can file for bankruptcy and it makes sense given your situation.
