    Credit card debt
    Hi

When my ex-boyfriend and I split up we had some credit cards together which we split among us and we agreed to take each others name off the cards we each took. Yeah right!! He had started paying it through credit counselling but one day claimed bankruptcy, because my name was still on the card they started looking for me. Is there a statute of limitations where if they can't locate you they can't ask for the money

If it's a joint card with his and your name, and he don't pay, expect them to look for you to pay. I'm pretty sure that's the way it works.
