    Can you really be turned downbecause of chp. 13

    Can people really be turned down because of a Chapter 13 bankruptcy? My husband and I are looking to move but we have been turned down because of the Ch. 13. We have been working with lawyers and everything and never miss a payment to them or for our rent. We had to do the chp.13 to clean up our credit. We live in an apartment complex right now that has started favoring what seems like illegal persons to live here. There are people who have Tags on their cars from 2002 New Jersey. If I did this they would have my car towed and me in jail. We just want to move and get out of here. My husband and I are getting older and we have grandchildren that we would love to take out and play.:cool:
