    Can I be sued if
6yrs ago I co-sign for a car for a friend. Then she added someone else to the loan, and I was suppose to be removed. Well to my surprised I received a summons in regard to this vechile. Turns out I wasn't removed. Now the 3 of us is being sued. Well she filled bankrupsty and they claim they can't find the 3rd party. This loan is no where on my credit report so how can I be held liable as a co-buyer. Vehicle was in possession of 3rd party when repossed. Thanks

IF YOU, signed the loan documents, then YOU ARE responsible, period.

Makes no difference if on your credit report or not, you are stuck.

If she filed BK, and they can't locate this third person, guess what?

You are the easiest target to collect their money from.
