    1099 garnishments
I work as a independent contractor and I am required to file a 1099 form. Can I be found filing this form for a garnishment to my wages and is the company responsible to garnish me if I am found?

The company you are a contractor for has to give you a 1099 for the money they pay you.

You don't have a option, you are required to file your taxes.
You can be found many ways if a creditor wants to find you hard enough.

    Garnishment laws vary by location
