    Using cards online
Let's say I apply for a Scene visa card online and I get it within a week. Am I able to say, hook up the scene "visa" card with Paypal and use it to buy items on the Internet with Paypal?

Assuming it is a regular credit card, yes you can attach a credit card though pay pal. And I always advise doing this, as a added protection when buying online

Just to clarify, if I try to hook up with my Scotiabank VISA card with Paypal, it WILL work?

You can hook up any credit or debit card to Paypal. You can also hook up your checking account to Paypal as well. When you go to pay on Paypal you will have the option of picking what account or card you want to put the purchase on. I like Paypal very much and use my account all the time for purchases as it immediately gives you a receipt for the purchase.
