I left my check that someone sent me in the mail in my pants and was accidentally washed in washing machine.the ink on the check is a little faded and has a small little rip in it. So I would like to know if I can still cash the check?

Present this to your bank and don't cash it but deposit the check instead. If the check is good your bank will do what is necessary to get your money,

You can merely try, as noted take it to your bank and see if they will accept it. They may put a hold on the money to be sure it will clear
