    CDs are fixed rate. What is $27,000 x 1.0535? Divide that figure by 2 and subract it from 1/2 of $27,000, as you are using only half the year. There you go... $722.. By the way 5.35% is pretty aggressive. Might as well leave it in for 12 months.
