I never received I my ss check so their sending me a nother one. How long does it take from the time they send it till the time it arrives in my bank account

You owe tickle an apology. You asked a question without giving sufficient information and when she answered logically you slapped her down. We are volunteers here. We give our time to try to help people, giving a negative rating except when the advice is factually wrong, is rude.

I'm not sure what you mean by a folder. There are two ways that SS payments are made (or any payments for that matter). Either by Direct Deposit or by regular postal mail. If its by Direct Deposit, every business day, a list of payments is sent to each bank in an electronic file. The bank receives that file and processes it the next business day, crediting the funds to the individual accounts.

However, I suspect you do not have Direct Deposit (foolish IMHO) otherwise you would have received the payment. So I suspect they are sending a physical check. And there is NO way to predict how long the mail will take. It depends on where you live in respect to where its being sent from. It depends on weather factors. etc. The check will NOT be credited to your account until the physical payment is received by the bank. Generally, the funds will be available to you the next business day after the bank physically receives the check.
