    Discriptive withdrawl garnishment
    Hello.
I saw a "Discriptive Withdrawl Garnishment" on my bank statement. What other reasons other than child support could there be for this? And wouldn't I need to be aware BEFORE money is taken out of my account? It was just under $200.00. It was down to penny's left, which caused overdraft action.
I have no idea what this could be for.
    Thanks for your time.
    Molly...

Go to the bank ask to see the writ allowing them to remove your funds. If they don't have one, tell them to put it all back.

If they have one go to the court that granted it and file a motion to quash the garnishment, this will cause a hearing to be granted so you can find out who ,what and why
