I revived an old thread here regarding a Wilson painting but it went away. When a Google search brings you here, you hope no matter the age of a thread, participation will still be accepted. Some forums allow it, others do not. I can't think of a reason to block posting to older threads as the cast of characters change year-to-year.

To the painting... In an old thread here, there was a similar painting to the one that has recently come into my possession, shown here. In continuation of that thread, as there was some interest, has anyone ever discovered anything about this artist? The time in which he created these? It appears as an original piece of artwork on canvas wrapped around a wood frame. Any thoughts? Thanks!
