    Identify this art piece and artist?
    This was inherited from my husbands grandparents and I believe they have had it for 50+ years although I am not certain. I can't find anything much on Google about this artist unless this piece was done when the James Roberts I did find was not so great or just practicing? Anyway, thanks for any tries!

    It is a lovely piece as far as I can see. Even his early works, maybe not so great, would have been in his repertroire if he became famous. No, I didn't find anything either.

    I have art pieces, by not so great artists, one Group of Seven by Tom Thompson (he died in Algonquin Park and they never found his body, some believed foul play) so, needless to say, he was instant magic as were all the Group of Seven. No one will ever get that early work from me !
