How to Sell a one of a kind Peter Max Painting?
Need to sell a Peter Max painting - what is the best way? I have a old appraisal of the value of the painting. Should I get it appraised again -- but I can not afford the cost at this time to have it appraised again. No real art dealers in my area would have to travel to New York or other east coast state or can I sell it on-line?

    Hello C:

Sure, you can sell it online. You might even get what it's worth, too. Course, you have no idea what it's worth, but maybe you'll get lucky.

Nahhh, you won't. People who win in the world of business aren't lucky - they're smart. They know what they're selling. You don't.

I would suggest trying the following searches to find what similar items are now selling for as far as prices.

Peter Max Painting - Google Search

Peter Max Painting Price - Google Search

Peter Max Painting - Google Image Search

Peter Max Painting Price - Google Image Search

Then, if you do decide to sell it online, most of the best free sites by which to do that are listed on the following link.

    https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/music/...ng-103010.html

All of the sites listed get excellent coverage when people do searches on the Internet. It depends on how you would word your ads so that people would find what you are trying to sell.

Then there is also the following search that you could try that might be helpful to you.

Sell Your Art Online - Google Search

Maybe there will be a site in the above search where it is just for selling works of art that you own and/or have produced.

Of course, there is always eBay that you could give a try How to Sell

I do hope that the above has been helpful to you! :)

I would submit a request at Sotheby's or Christie's to appraise the value of the painting . Perhaps they may even be willing to auction it for you .
