Original Oil on Plywood - Cuban (?) folk or Naïve Art
I have an original oil on plywood that shows several groups of characters engaged in several common activities. I bought it from a person who said it could be painted by a Cuban and it was folk impressionism. Don't know if that's true although it does look like folk or naïve art. It is 54 by 44 inches. Does anyone know who might have painted it or where it might have been painted or where is all this activity taking place. I thought it might be a prison but there is a lady with the rest of the crew. Thanks ahead of time.
