I am trying to identify an oil painting I have. The signature is in cursive and is 'A. Smith'. I have been searching and all I come up with is wither William A. Smith or Arthur Smith. Any ideas?

I have an oil painting which I inherited from my great aunt. I can find no signature. Could someone identify the artist and/or the name of the painting?
