Cannot read artist's signature
Hello,
I saw this print in a thrift store today. It was numbered, so I thought it might have some value. However, I didn't buy it because I wanted to see if I could figure out the artist's name first and if it had any value. I thought maybe the signature was "lebardeaux" or "ebardaux" but haven't come up with any artist by that name as of yet. Here are two images I took with my cell phone. Can anyone help identify the artist? |

Hi all- I am new to this site, but thrilled to find it. I am trying to identify an artist whose signature I can't read. The painting is an oil painting of the Battle of Trafalgar. I've tried several possibilities with no success. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks! Cathe

I have this painting and it is signed. It is probably from the 50's. The signature looks to me to be "J Larian, "D Lorian", "J larkin", "A larkin" or "Vlarkin" I tried researching all these names and could not find anything on these people or else the description for the artist did not match this...
