    Artist identification
I have a fine watercolor portrait of a Moor signed : J.Moorehouse. This most probably painted in the late 1800's or early 1900's . This painting was acquired in Tangier Morocco during WWII. Is the artist well known and is there a link to further information ?

It might approximate some shown but I made an error the British artist singned his work J.MOORHOUSE not MoorEhouse.
I can provide photo of the magnifficent portrait... the artist must have been well recongnised in his time.

I found the above on my profile. If it's on this thread, I'm not able to see it, probably because of the skin that I'm using for the site.

I'm guessing that you're probably using the new skin for the site that's being tested. It's hard to find a lot of things in it, and the "bugs" need to be worked out yet in it.

If you go to your Profile page, you should be able to edit your options and change the skin that you're using. It also might be that the option to change to one of the old skins might also be on one of any pages that you might be on here.

Anyway, if you can change to an old skin, you should be able to find a button that's called Post Reply. Click on it, and you'll find a reply box. At the top of the reply box you'll find the image of a little paper clip. Please click on the paper clip.

    Thanks!

    Hi again, johngk!

I received what you wrote above in my profile as a rating. So, I didn't see it until I viewed my profile. I removed your email address to protect your privacy. I would hate to see you get spammed because it was exposed here. Plus, once a thread has been started, all information needs to stay on the thread so that others with similar questions can benefit by the information that's exchanged.

Going outside of the site would be going against the policies of this site.

You can change the skin that you're using here. Doing so will give you more options.

    Thanks!
