    Will not work
I have a Whirlpool front loader that will not work. The model number is GHW9200LQ. The Maytag repair person replaced the control panel with no success, but I'm thinking it's more along the lines of a bad door switch. Are there any fuses that I'm missing? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I no longer work on appliances but if a real Maytag repair person can't fix it I doubt if we can do better without the machine sitting in our lap. No fuses and if you think it's the door switch try bypassing it.

Well - This Maytag repair man constantly calls the regional office for advice. That's why I'm a little skeptical.

You do have a thermal fuse located at the back side of the blower housing. To test, you can bypas it by jumpering around it

Just trying to clarify. The Maytag dryer has a thermal fuse but I don't think there is a thermal fuse on a washer. Had any luck with bypassing the door switch?

The washer belongs to friend of mine and I haven't talked to her today.
