Why won't my my frigidaire dryer spin with a full load of clothes in it?
My dryer started squeeling recently. It also(recently) won't spin with a full load of clothes in it. I found the info. On askme.com to fix the squeel(replace rear bearing). I had already purchased a replacement belt, so I replaced it while I had it apart researching the bearing. I put it back together because I need to use it until my parts come in. That didn't fix the fact that I can't dry a full load. Will replacing the rear bearing help fix this because there is no more binding @ the bearing? I don't want to fix the dryer if there is an expensive fix in my future.

By the way, the dryer is model # FDE436RES1

Frigidaire dryer ruining clothes [ 1 Answers ]

We have a frigidaire galley dryer that was purchased 4/5 years ago. Clothes are getting stuck in the crack around the door that allows the drum to spin. It leaves marks and/or chews them up. Has anyone experiences anything like this or know how to fix it.
